Writer's Residency Opportunity
Frog Pump Productions, of Metro Louisville, is offering an opportunity for writers and playwrights to live and work--be inspired by-- a residency in New York City! Details are below:

Application Summer 2021
Beginning in March 2021, Frog Pump Productions will actively support playwrights/writers by providing housing within our residential portfolio. By easing the financial burden of city-living, we strive to give qualifying writers the time and space to work. The process is open to any playwright who is a member of the Dramatist Guild, and any published writer. Currently there is no fee to apply to or attend the Residency program. Playwrights/writers are hosted for two to seven days from March to October.

Alumni of the program are eligible to reapply. Residency applicants will be notified of their acceptance status as soon as possible.

The Residency provides a private bedroom with full size bed, a private bathroom with tub/shower, a printer, and high-speed wi-fi throughout the duration of all residencies. In addition, residents share, with the Residency Manager, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. Includes all blankets, towels, and bedding. Does not provide personal laptops or electronic devices, food, or transportation. Housing is in an apartment in Central Harlem five blocks north of Central Park and one block from 2/3 subway lines. Food is the responsibility of each accepted resident. The Residency Manager, a playwright, lives on site.
Residents are expected to return their bedroom and bathroom in the same condition in which it was received.
There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside or outside of the building.
Residents are not permitted overnight visitors.
We love them, but please, no pets are permitted.
