Only God can make a tree . . .

A poet much wiser and better than I once said that only God can make a tree. He was right of course as these photos from rural Maine-- in and near Acadia National Park reminds us. Perhaps I'll try to paint some pictures to keep that wonderful trip in mind and in our house, but nothing does justice to what nature 'creates' of her own accord, in her own time.
