Catching up with reunions

Reunion television shows are all the rage. After a popular show has been off the air for awhile a REUNION seems to be de rigueur. Mary Tyler Moore, Andy Griffith, Seinfeld, Leave it to Beaver, Happy Days, Cheers --over the decades every show of more than passing popularity seems to have had a "Reunion." Friends seems to have been the most recent if not the best.

In an article in Slate author Willa Paskin points out the dangers and enjoyment to be found in watching such shows. I agree completely with her premise. But I've made a promise (to myself) not to give away the game; instead, read the article and post your comments here. Thanks
