Banned books

When is art not art? When it comes to books art seems to end when a school board or library undertakes to ban one or more books. After all no one would ever ban a well written book of art such as Huckleberry Finn. Oh, you're right, that book has been banned. What about . . . ? Right. Banned.

At any rate the New York Times, in today's paper, features a Guest Essay by a woman whose book has been banned. Her opinion is certainly worth considering before school and library boards again consider banning a book . . . ANY book.
